In cases where our firm was not originally retained to investigate the fire, a Case File Analysis is conducted with an evaluation of all investigative reports, photographs, documents, depositions, and evidence pertaining to the fire in question. In addition to analyzing the overall fire investigation, a review of the building plans, code requirements, and operation of the fire and life safety systems are conducted in regard to the fire's behavior and spread.
Once an evaluation of the case is made, this firm assists in the preparation of the case with outlines for upcoming depositions and future discovery.
Courtroom exhibits in the form of computer graphics, slide and video presentations, as well as scale models, are then prepared as needed to illustrate our expert opinions for the deposition and trial.
Case file analysis makes up approximately thirty-three percent of our case load, and we are retained by both the plaintiff as well as the defense in civil litigation.
