RUSS AUKER - CFI
Russ Auker is a nationally recognized Certified Fire Investigator representing law firms, insurance carriers and manufacturers throughout the United States.
His expertise consists of all aspects of forensic vehicle investigation, which includes domestic, foreign, recreational, and commercial vehicles, as well as agricultural equipment of all types. In addition, his credentials include the investigation of structural, maritime, and wildland fire losses as well as fire behavior, fire spread, and code compliance.
Mr. Auker has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Prevention. In addition, he has received approximately 2200 hours of Instruction at Fire and Arson Investigation Seminars and Workshops.
He began his career in 1967 as Firefighter, and after working his way up through the ranks, Russ retired from the Folsom Fire Department in 1988 as Battalion Chief. With 31 years experience in the fire service, Russ has investigated over 1200 fires of all types. He was also responsible for the continuing development of the vehicle maintenance division for the fire department.
Since his departure from the Fire Department, Russ has gained 8 years experience as a Fire Investigator in the private sector.
Russ has qualified numerous times as an Expert in Fire Cause Determination, Flame and Smoke Spread, and General Fire Behavior in Municipal and Superior Courts in the State of California.
